✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us on the Day of Sacrifice after the prayer, then said: "Whoever prays our prayer and performs our sacrifice has hit upon the sacrifice, and whoever sacrifices before the prayer, that is a meat sheep." Abu Burdah b. Niyar said: "O Messenger of Allah, I sacrificed before I went out to the prayer, and I knew that today is a day of eating and drinking, so I hastened and ate and fed my family and neighbors." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "That is a meat sheep." He said: "I have a jadha'ah kid that is better than two meat sheep; will it suffice for me?" He said: "Yes, it will suffice for you, but it will not suffice for anyone after you."
