✧ We were at the pillar of the mosque, and if I were there I would tell you its location. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and said: "The first thing we begin with on this day of ours is to pray, then return and slaughter. Whoever does that has hit upon our Sunnah, and whoever slaughters before that, it is only meat he has offered ahead to his family, not part of the sacrifice in any way." He said: My maternal uncle Abu Burdah b. Niyar slaughtered, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have slaughtered, and I have a jadha'ah that is better than a musinnah." He said: "Put it in its place, but it will not suffice for anyone after you."
