أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَكَانَتْ فِي حِجْرِ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ سَفَرٍ وَعِنْدِي نَمَطٌ فِيهِ صُورَةٌ فَوَضَعْتُهُ عَلَى سَهْوَتِي قَالَتْ فَأَخَذَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَاجْتَبَذَهُ وَقَالَ «أَتَسْتُرِينَ الْجِدَارَ»؟ فَجَعَلْتُهُ وِسَادَتَيْنِ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْتَفِقُ عَلَيْهِمَا

✧ The Prophet ﷺ returned from a journey, and I had a curtain with images on it, which I placed over my shelf. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took it and pulled it away, saying, "Will you cover the wall?" So I made it into two cushions, and I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reclining on them.
