✧ I and 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar were at the house of Khalid b. 'Uqbah, the one in the market. A man came wanting to converse privately with him, and there was no one with 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar except me and the man who wanted to converse privately with him. So 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar called a man until we were four. He said to me and to the man he called: Stand back, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Two should not converse privately excluding one."
