أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَادٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَنْجَشَةُ وَكَانَ حَسَنَ الصَّوْتِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «رُوَيْدَكَ يَا أَنْجَشَةُ لَا تَكْسِرِ الْقَوَارِيرَ»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ had a camel-driver named Anjashah, and he had a beautiful voice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, “Gently, O Anjashah, do not break the glass vessels.”
