✧ What is disliked from speech and what is not disliked?

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّ الْمُسْتَبَّيْنَ مَا قَالَا فَهُوَ عَلَى الْبَادِئِ مَا لَمْ يَعْتَدِ الْمَظْلُومُ»

✧ Indeed, the two revilers—whatever they say—it is upon the one who initiated it, as long as the wronged one does not transgress.
