✧ What is disliked from speech and what is not disliked?

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

«لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ قَبَّحَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَكُ وَوَجْهَ مَنْ أَشْبَهَ وَجْهَكَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ آدَمَ عَلَى صُورَتِهِ»

Translation

  4. Ibn ʿAjlān
  5. Saʿīd
  6. Abū Hurayrah
  7. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ None of you should say, “May Allah disfigure your face and the face of anyone who resembles your face,” for indeed Allah created Adam in His image.
