✧ “It is not lawful for a Muslim to sever relations with a Muslim for more than three [days]. They are both deviating from the truth as long as they are severed. The first of them to return will have his precedence in returning as an expiation for him. If he greets him and he does not accept his greeting, the angels return it to him, and the devil returns it to the other. If they die while severed, they will not enter Paradise, nor will they be together in Paradise.”
