أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ وَهُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَتَى تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ؟ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ «أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ؟ » قَالَ هَا أَنَا ذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ «إِنَّهَا قَائِمَةٌ فَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا؟ » قَالَ مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا كَبِيرَ عَمَلٍ غَيْرَ أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ» قَالَ وَعِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهُ مُحَمَّدٌ فقَالَ «إِنْ يَعِشْ هَذَا فَلَا يُدْرِكُهُ الْهَرَمُ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ»

✧ A man said: O Messenger of Allah, when will the Hour occur? The prayer was commenced. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, he said: "Where is the one who asked about the Hour?" He said: Here I am, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "It is coming, so what have you prepared for it?" He said: I have not prepared for it much action except that I love Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet ﷺ said: "You are with the one you love." He said: And there was with him a man from the Ansar called Muhammad, so he said: "If this one lives, old age will not overtake him until the Hour occurs."
