أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ
كَانَ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ»

✧ When he lay down, he would say: “O Allah, I have submitted my soul to You, turned my face to You, and entrusted my affair to You, out of hope and fear of You. There is no refuge or escape from You except to You.”
