✧ Abu Bakr brought Abu Quhafah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the conquest of Makkah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Bakr, «If you had kept the old man in his house, we would have come to him, out of honor for Abu Bakr.» He said, 'Then he embraced Islam, and his head and beard were white like the thaghamah plant.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, «Change them both and keep him away from black.»
