✧ Abu Ubayda b. al-Jarrah, Suhayl b. Bayda', and Ubayy b. Ka'b were with Abu Talha, and I was serving them a drink until it nearly affected them. Then a Muslim passerby called out: 'Do you know that wine has been forbidden?' He said: By Allah, they did not wait; they told me to overturn the containers, and I did so. They never returned to any of that until they met Allah. And that drink was unripe and ripe dates, and it was our wine on that day.”
