أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ
أَنَّ حُذَيْفَةَ اسْتَسْقَى فَأَتَاهُ الْخَادِمُ بِقَدَحٍ مُفَضَّضٍ فَرَدَّهُ وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «هُوَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَنَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ»

✧ Hudhayfah asked for water, and a servant brought him a silver-plated cup, so he returned it and said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "It is for them in this world, and for us in the Hereafter."'
