أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ خَالَتَهُ أَهْدَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمْنًا وَأَقِطًا وَأَضُبًّا فَأَكَلَ مِنَ السَّمْنِ وَالْأَقِطِ وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ مِنَ الْأَضُبِّ تَقَذُّرًا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «أُكِلَ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُؤْكَلْ عَلَيْهَا»

✧ His maternal aunt gifted the Messenger of Allah ﷺ clarified butter, dried curd, and dabb lizards. He ate from the clarified butter and dried curd but did not eat the dabb lizards, finding them repulsive. Ibn Abbas said: “It was eaten on the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Had it been forbidden, it would not have been eaten on his table.”
