✧ The sale of the arranged

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ أَبَا مَذْكُورٍ دَبَّرَ غُلَامًا لَهُ فَاحْتَاجَ فَبَاعَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ مُحْتَاجًا فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِنَفْسِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَلِأَهْلِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَلِأَقَارِبِهِ»

Translation

✧ Abu Madhkur made a slave of his a mudabbar, then he fell into need, so the Prophet ﷺ sold him and said: "When one of you is in need, let him begin with himself; if there is surplus, then for his family; if there is surplus, then for his relatives."
