✧ There is no enmity between me and any Arab. I passed by a mosque of Banu Hanifah, and they believed in Musaylimah. He sent 'Abdullah to them, and they were brought to him. He asked them to repent, except Ibn al-Nawwahah. He said to him, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Were it not that you are a messenger, I would have struck your neck, and today you are not a messenger."' He ordered Qurazah b. Ka'b, and he struck his neck in the market. Then he said, 'Whoever wants to look at Ibn al-Nawwahah, let him look at him dead in the market.'
