✧ On the day of Hunayn, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave preference to some people in the division. He gave al-Aqra' b. Habis one hundred camels, gave Uyayna b. Hisn the like of that, and gave preference to some of the nobles of the Arabs. A man said, 'By Allah, this is a division in which justice was not observed, and the face of Allah was not intended by it.' I said, 'I will inform the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' I came to him and informed him. The face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ changed, then he said, 'Who will be just if Allah and His Messenger are not just?' Then he said, 'May Allah have mercy on Musa. He was harmed with more than this, and he was patient.' I said, 'No doubt, I will never raise a report to him after this.'
