✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ acquired spoils, he would order Bilal to call out among the people, and the people would bring their spoils; he would take a fifth and divide it. Then a man came to him after that with a rope of hair and said: 'Did you not hear Bilal calling three times?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'What prevented you from bringing it?' He made an excuse to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You yourself will bring it on the Day of Resurrection, and I will never accept it from you.'
