✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of Uhud when they pressed upon him while he was with seven of the Ansar and one man from Quraysh: “Who will repel them from us? He will be my companion in Paradise.” A man from the Ansar stood up and fought until he was killed. Then he said the same, and another stood up and fought until he was killed. He kept saying that until the seven were killed. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “We have not been fair to our companions. O Allah, if You will, You will not be worshipped on earth.”
