أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى الزَّمِنُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَسْلَمُ يَرْمُونَ فَقَالَ «ارْمُوا بَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ فَإِنَّ أَبَاكُمْ كَانَ رَامِيًا وَارْمُوا وَأَنَا مَعَ ابْنِ الْأَدْرَعِ» فَأَمْسَكَ الْقَوْمُ قِسِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا مَنْ كُنْتَ مَعَهُ غَلَبَ قَالَ «ارْمُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُمْ كُلُّكُمْ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out while Aslam were shooting. He said, “Shoot, O sons of Ismail, for your father was an archer. Shoot, and I am with Ibn al-Adra‘.” The people withheld their bows and said, “Whoever you are with wins.” He said, “Shoot, and I am with all of you.”
