✧ The horses

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْكَلَاعِيُّ بِحِمْصَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمَذْحِجِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْهَوْزَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ الْأَنْمَارِيِّ

أَنَّهُ أَتَاهُ فَقَالَ أَطْرِقْنِي فَرَسَكَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَطْرَقَ فَرَسًا فَعَقَبَ لَهُ الْفَرَسُ كَانَ لَهُ كَأَجْرِ سَبْعِينَ فَرَسًا حُمِلَ عَلَيْهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَإِنْ لَمْ تُعْقِبْ كَانَ لَهُ كَأَجْرِ فَرَسٍ حُمِلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ»

✧ He came to him and said: 'Lend me your stallion, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Whoever lends a stallion and it sires offspring, he will have the reward of seventy horses that were ridden in the way of Allah; and if it does not sire, he will have the reward of one horse ridden in the way of Allah.'
