✧ A woman came to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and said: "I have committed a sin while pregnant." The Prophet of Allah ﷺ ordered her to go away until she gave birth to what was in her womb. When she gave birth, she came, and he ordered her to go away and breastfeed it until she weaned it. She did so. Then she came, and he ordered her to give her child to some people, and she did so. Then she came, and he asked her to whom she had given it. She informed him that she gave it to so-and-so. He ordered her to take it and give it to the family of so-and-so, people from the Ansar. Then she came, and he ordered her to fasten her clothes tightly around her. Then he ordered her to be stoned. Then he shrouded her and prayed over her, then buried her. The people said: "He stoned her, then shrouded her, prayed over her, then buried her." The Prophet ﷺ heard what the people were saying and said: "She has repented with a repentance that if her repentance were divided among seventy men of the people of Madinah, it would suffice them."
