أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ الْبَتَّةَ فَتَزَوَّجَتْ زَوْجًا فَطَلَّقَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا أَتَرْجِعُ إِلَى زَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ قَالَ «لَا حَتَّى يَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَتَهَا مَا ذَاقَ صَاحِبُهَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a man who divorced his wife irrevocably, and she married another husband, then he divorced her before consummating the marriage: may she return to her first husband? He said: "No, not until he tastes her sweetness as the other tasted it."
