✧ The Reproach of Neglecting Struggle when this Nation Struggles in the Cause of God

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَثِيرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«لَا يَسْتَامُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يَشْتَرِيَ أَوْ يَتْرُكَ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يَنْكِحَ أَوْ يَذَرَ»

✧ A man should not bargain over the bargain of his brother until he buys or leaves, and he should not propose over the proposal of his brother until he marries or gives up."
