✧ Hajj and Umrah for Non-Muslims

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ خَثْعَمَ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ فَرِيضَةَ اللَّهِ فِي الْحَجِّ أَدْرَكَتْ أَبِي شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَوِيَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَهَلْ أَقْضِي عَنْهُ أَوْ أَحُجُّ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَعَمْ»

✧ A woman from Khathʿam said: O Messenger of Allah, Allah's obligation of Hajj has reached my father as an old man who cannot sit upright on his mount. Should I fulfill it on his behalf, or perform Hajj for him? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "Yes."
