The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began turning al-Fadl’s face to the other side. She said, “O Messenger of Allah, Allah’s obligation upon His servants regarding Hajj has found my father an old man who cannot remain mounted on a riding beast. Should I perform Hajj on his behalf?” He said, “Yes.” That was during the Farewell Pilgrimage.
