أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ بِخَبَرٍ غَرِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ عُضْوُ صَيْدٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَرَدَّهُ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ»

✧ I said to Zaid ibn Arqam, "Did you not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was gifted a piece of game meat while he was in the state of Ihram, and he returned it?" He said, "Yes."
