Sahih Ibn Hibban 3918

Translation

✧ We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the months of Hajj and the nights of Hajj and the sacred precincts of Hajj, until we stopped at Sarif. She said: He ﷺ went out to his companions and said: “Whoever does not have with him a sacrificial animal (hady) and would like to make it an Umrah, let him do so; and whoever has the sacrificial animal with him, then no.” She said: Some of his companions took it and some left it. She said: As for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and some men of his companions, they were people of strength and had the sacrificial animal with them, so they were not able to do the Umrah. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while I was weeping, and he ﷺ said: “What makes you weep, O little one?” I said: I heard what you said to your companions, and I have been prevented from the Umrah. He said: “What is the matter with you?” She said: I cannot pray. He said: “That does not harm you. You are only a woman from the daughters of Adam; Allah has prescribed for you what He prescribed for them. Be in your Hajj, for perhaps you will attain it.” She said: So we went out in his Hajj until we came to Mina, and I became pure. Then I went out from Mina and performed the ifadah circumambulation of the House. She said: Then I went out with him in the last departure until he stopped at al-Muhassab, and we stopped with him. He called Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Bakr and said ﷺ: “Go out with your sister from the Haram, let her enter ihram for Umrah, then when you both finish come here, for I am waiting for you both until you come to me.” She said: So I went out for that until I finished and completed the circumambulation, then I came to him before dawn. He ﷺ said: “Have you finished?” I said: Yes. He said: Then he announced departure to his companions, and the people departed. He passed by the House before the dawn prayer and circumambulated it, then he went out, mounted, and departed heading to Madinah.
