Sahih Ibn Hibban 382

✧ Chapter: Mentioning Allah's preparation for His obedient servants which cannot be described by their senses.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ عَنْ وَرْقَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَ

إِذَا أَرَادَ عَبْدِي أَنْ يَعْمَلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلَا تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَعْمَلْهَا فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا مِثْلَهَا فَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ أَجْلِي فَاكْتُبُوهَا حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ عَشْرَةَ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ»

✧ When My servant wants to do an evil deed, do not write it against him until he does it. If he does it, write it as its like. If he abandons it for My sake, write it as a good deed. If he wants to do a good deed, write it for him as a good deed. If he does it, write it for him as ten times its like up to seven hundred fold.
