Sahih Ibn Hibban 3795

Translation

✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the months of ḥajj, the nights of ḥajj, and the sacred precinct of ḥajj, until we alighted at Sarif. She said: He went out to his Companions and said: "Whoever does not have a sacrificial animal with him and would like to make it an ʿumrah, let him do so; but whoever has a sacrificial animal with him, no." She said: Some of his Companions accepted it and some left it. She said: As for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and some men among his Companions, they were people of strength and had sacrificial animals with them, so they were not able to do the ʿumrah. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while I was weeping. He said: "What makes you weep, O little one?" I said: I heard what you said to your Companions, so I was prevented from the ʿumrah. He said: "What is the matter with you?" I said: I cannot pray. He said: "That does not harm you. You are only a woman among the daughters of Adam. Allah has decreed for you what He has decreed for them. So remain in your ḥajj; perhaps you will attain it." She said: So we set out on his ḥajj until we arrived at Minā. Then I became pure. Then I left Minā and performed the ifāḍah ṭawāf of the House. She said: Then I went out with him in the last group of departures until he alighted at al-Muḥaṣṣab, and we alighted with him. He called ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Abī Bakr and said: "Take your sister out of the ḥaram, and let her enter ihram for ʿumrah. Then finish and come here, for I will wait for you until you come to me." She said: So I went out for that until I finished, and I finished the ṭawāf. Then I came to him before dawn. He said: "Have you finished?" I said: Yes. He said: "Then announce departure among his Companions." So the people departed, and he passed by the House before the morning prayer and performed ṭawāf of it. Then he went out, mounted, and turned away heading to Madinah.
