أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِذَا
أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ قَدْ أَحْبَبْتُ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبَّهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لَا أَحْسِبُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ فِي الْبُغْضِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

✧ When Allah loves a servant, He says to Jibril: "I have loved so-and-so, so love him." Then Jibril loves him, then he announces among the inhabitants of heaven: "Allah has loved so-and-so, so love him." Then the inhabitants of heaven love him, then acceptance is placed for him on earth. And when Allah hates a servant, Malik said: I do not think he said anything except in hatred, something similar to that.
