✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent on the morning of Ashura to the villages of the Ansar around Madinah: Whoever has begun the day fasting, let him complete his fast, and whoever has begun the day not fasting, let him fast the rest of that day. She said: So we used to fast it and make our young children fast, and we would take them to the mosque and make for them a toy of wool, and if one of them cried for food, we would give it to him until it was time to break the fast.
