أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ نُوحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بُسْرٍ الْمَازِنِيَّ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
تَرَوْنَ يَدِي هَذِهِ؟ بَايَعْتُ بِهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا لِحَاءَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ Do you see this hand of mine? I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with it, and I heard him say: Do not fast on Saturday except in what has been made obligatory upon you; and if one of you finds nothing but the bark of a tree, let him break his fast with it.
