✧ Cupping for the fasting person

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ

كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ زَمَانَ الْفَتْحِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ going to al-Baqi' at the time of the conquest, and he looked at a man performing cupping. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The cupper and the one cupped have broken their fast."
