أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْحَمِقِ الْخُزَاعِيَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا عَسَلَهُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ» قِيلَ وَمَا عَسَلُهُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ؟ قَالَ «يُفْتَحُ لَهُ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ مَوْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْضَى عَنْهُ»

✧ “When Allah intends good for a servant, He sweetens him before his death.” It was said: And what is His sweetening him before his death? He said: “A righteous deed is opened for him before his death until He is pleased with him.”
