✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go out on the day of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to perform two units of prayer, then he would say the salaam and go to the people while he was standing in his prayer area. Then he would sit and face them and say to the people, "Give charity." Most of those who would give charity were women, who would give their earrings and bracelets. If he had any need, he would send someone to the people, otherwise he would leave.
