أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ بِبُسْتَ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ

لَوْ رَأَيْتُمَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فِي مَرَضٍ لَهُ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ عِنْدِي سِتَّةُ دَنَانِيرَ أَوْ سَبْعَةٌ قَالَتْ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُفَرِّقَهَا فَشَغَلَنِي وَجَعُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى عَافَاهُ اللَّهُ قَالَتْ ثُمَّ سَأَلَنِي عَنْهَا فَقُلْتُ لَا وَاللَّهِ قَدْ كَانَ شَغَلَنِي وَجَعُكَ قَالَتْ فَدَعَا بِهَا فَوَضَعَهَا فِي كَفِّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «مَا ظَنُّ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ لَوْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ؟ »

✧ If you had seen the Prophet of Allah ﷺ one day during an illness of his. He had with me six or seven dinars. She said: He ordered me to distribute them, but the pain of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ distracted me until Allah cured him. She said: Then he asked me about them. I said: No, by Allah, your pain had distracted me. She said: He called for them and placed them in his palm. Then he said: "What does the Prophet of Allah think, if he meets Allah while it is with him?"
