✧ “When the servant is placed in his grave and his companions turn away from him—so much so that he hears the knocking of their sandals—two angels come to him, make him sit up, and say: ‘What did you use to say about this man, about Muhammad?’ As for the believer, he says: ‘I bear witness that he is the servant of Allah and His Messenger.’ It is then said to him: ‘Look at your seat in the Fire; Allah has replaced it for you with a seat in Paradise.’” Qatadah said: “It was mentioned to us that his grave is widened for him by seventy cubits and filled with greenery until the day they are resurrected.” Then he returned to the hadith of Anas b. Malik; he said: “As for the disbeliever and the hypocrite, it is said to him: ‘What did you use to say about this man?’ He says: ‘I do not know; I used to say what the people say.’ It is said: ‘You neither knew nor followed.’ Then he is struck with an iron hammer with a blow between his ears, and he cries out with a cry heard by whoever is upon the earth except the two heavy ones (jinn and humans).”
