✧ A Chapter about the Prayer for the Funeral

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ الرَّيَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَكَانَ أَكْبَرَ مِنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَكَانَ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَزَيْدٌ لَمْ يَشْهَدْ بَدْرًا قَالَ

خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ «فَرَأَى قَبْرًا جَدِيدًا فَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا»

✧ "We went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Al-Baqi, and he saw a new grave, so we stood behind it and performed the funeral prayer four times."
