Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr said: Rather, through nine, all of them good (ḥasan), and he gave them all with their chains in his Tamhīd: from the hadith of Sahl b. Ḥunayf, Abū Hurayrah, ʿĀmir b. Rabīʿah, Ibn ʿAbbās and Zayd b. Thaʿlabah, that he ﷺ returned from Badr after the mother of Abū Umāmah had died, and he prayed over her; and the hadith of Anas, that he ﷺ prayed over a woman after she had been buried, which could refer to the poor woman or to another.
