أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ وَعَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ الْمَدْحُ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَلِذَلِكَ مَدَحَ نَفْسَهُ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَلِذَلِكَ حَرَّمَ الْفَوَاحِشَ»

✧ No one loves praise more than Allah, so He praised Himself, and no one is more jealous than Allah, so He forbade indecencies.
