✧ What is mentioned about patience, rewards of illnesses, and afflictions

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ وَالْحَوْضِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَسَارٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ

أَنَّهُمَا بَلَغَهُمَا أَنَّ رَجُلًا مَاتَ بِبَطْنٍ فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَلَمْ يَبْلُغْكُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَتَلَهُ بَطْنُهُ لَمْ يُعَذَّبْ فِي قَبْرِهِ»

✧ They both learned that a man died of a stomach ailment, so one of them said, 'Has it not reached you that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is killed by his stomach will not be punished in his grave"?'
