✧ A man among the Muslims said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is our reward for these illnesses that afflict us?" He said, "They are expiations." He said, "O Messenger of Allah, even if they are few?" He said, "Even a thorn or anything above it." He said, "Then he called upon himself that fever would not leave him until he died, and that it would not distract him from Hajj, Umrah, jihad in the path of Allah, or prescribed prayer in congregation." He said, "No person touched his body except that he found its heat, until he died."
