أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَالزَّرْعِ لَا تَزَالُ الرِّيحُ تُفِيئُهُ وَلَا يَزَالُ الْمُؤْمِنُ يُصِيبُهُ الْبَلَاءُ وَمَثَلُ الْمُنَافِقِ كَالشَّجَرَةِ الْأَرْزِ لَا تَهْتَزُّ حَتَّى تُسْتَحْصَدَ»

✧ The likeness of the believer is like a plant: the wind keeps bending it, and the believer keeps being afflicted by calamity. And the likeness of the hypocrite is like the cedar tree: it does not shake until it is cut down.
