✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of Allah, the livestock have perished and the roads are cut off, so invoke Allah.” So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ supplicated. He said, “We were given rain from one Friday to the next.” He said, “Then a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, the houses have collapsed and the livestock have perished.’ So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood and said, ‘O Allah, upon the tops of the mountains, the hillocks, the bottoms of the valleys, and the places where trees grow.’” He said, “Then the clouds parted from Madinah like the parting of a garment.”
