  • al-Bukhari

machine translationThe ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah on [reciting] aloud is more authentic (aṣaḥḥ) than the ḥadīth of Samurah.

  • Badr al-Dīn al-ʿAynī

machine translationThe narration of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Namir concerning reciting aloud (al-jahr) is not to be used as evidence, because he is weak (ḍaʿīf).
