✧ The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed and prolonged the standing. Then he bowed, then raised his head and stood but not as long as his first standing. Then he bowed, then raised his head and stood but not as long as his first standing. Then he bowed—three bowings. Then he prostrated. Then he raised his head and stood and bowed three bowings, in which he stood for shorter periods than his first standing. Then he prostrated. Then he finished, and the sun had become clear. He said, 'The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of anyone's death or life. They are two signs among Allah's signs. When you see an eclipse, pray until it clears.'
