✧ The prayer of the lunar eclipse.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ وَقُمْنَا مَعَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا انْكَسَفَ أَحَدُهُمَا فَافْزَعُوا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ»

Translation

✧ The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He stood up and we stood with him. Then he said, “O people, the sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah. So when one of them eclipses, hasten to the mosques.”
