✧ When he mounted his camel setting out on a journey, he would say the takbir three times and say: {Glory be to the One Who subjected this to us, for we were not capable of it}. “O Allah, we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness, piety, and deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey of ours easy for us and fold its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion in travel and the Deputy in the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, from a sorrowful sight, and from an evil return in family, wealth, and children.” When he returned, he would say these words and add: “Returning, repenting, worshiping, and praising our Lord.”
