✧ Prostration of forgetfulness

أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ

صَلَّى بِنَا عَلْقَمَةُ الظُّهْرَ خَمْسًا فَقَالَ لَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فَقَالَ وَأَنْتَ يَا أَعْوَرُ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ « فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ» ثُمَّ حَدَّثَ عَلْقَمَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

Translation

✧ Alqamah led us in Zuhr as five (rak'ahs). Ibrahim said to him, 'And you, O one-eyed?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'So he prostrated two prostrations.' Then Alqamah narrated from 'Abd Allah from the Prophet ﷺ the like of that.
